Welcome to Pacific Grove Middle School
Annually, the Pacific Grove Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) orchestrates initiatives aimed at bolstering curriculum support, enriching educational programs, and fostering a strong sense of community.
The PGMS PTSA is a group of dedicated volunteers working to make our kids’ time at PGMS better and keep the school spirit alive. Our goal is to enhance our children’s educational journeys of all PGMS students by supporting the school and our surrounding community. You can find all the information you need on this website, our Facebook page, and the Catapult newsletter, which will help you stay in the loop about school happenings and opportunities to get involved.
The PGMS PTSA plays a pivotal role by addressing critical needs within our school, such as funding for programs, events, and supplies not covered by the Pacific Grove Unified School District. For a comprehensive understanding of our programs and events, please click on the Volunteer link, and scroll to the bottom for brief descriptions of each activity. If you are interested in how PTSA funds are allocated, we encourage you to review the How Money is Spent link.
We’re excited to connect with you this year. Don’t hesitate to reach out with your thoughts or offer your time, skills, and unique abilities to make a difference in our kids’ experience at Pacific Grove Middle School. Please contact us through our Contact page
Who can be a member of the PTSA?
All parents/guardians, faculty, staff and students are invited to become members of the PTSA. The only membership requirements include a small fee (which, among other things, helps us cover the cost of county, state and national PTSA dues).
When does the PTSA Board meet?
The PGMS PTSA Board meets on the third Wednesday of every month. Please see the Events page to review the monthly calendar.
Meetings are held in the Library at Pacific Grove Middle School starting at 6:30pm, and are open to everyone.
