Ruby Bridges Advisory/Walk: PGMS will be celebrating and learning about Ruby Bridges who  became the first African American child to integrate a white Southern elementary school. On November 14, 1960, she had to be escorted due to threats of violence. We will walk as a school from PGMS to Lighthouse Avenue draped in purple to symbolically walk Rubys’ walk to school. This event will take place on Tuesday, November 14th at 8:30 am. If you would like to opt your student out, or if you would like to attend the walk with us, please email sroach@pgusd.org.
